I have had my '05 MY Coupe. speed, Z51 since Nov. 05. The only problem has been an overcharged A/C system. I was told that this was a factory problem. They just evaxcuated the system and represuued it to the correct and lower pressure.

Bottom line, no problems of any consequence.

Wow November 5 is my birthday and also the day my 05 came off the line!

The only prob. with my 06 is that the glove box is too small; and I can live with that; It's suppose to be bigger in 07.:)

Now that there are about 40,000 C6s out there could you owners resopond to this question? What problems little, big, and pi$%es you off have you had so far with your cars? These answers will help me to decide whether to hold or fold.

Thanks,

Take a tour thru the Bowling Green,KY Corvette Assembly Plant and youll be convinced that the C6 is the best corvette thus far. As for what i dont care for on mine : 1. Too much rear road noise even after changing out the RunFlat tires. So im going to insulate the heck out of it. Minor correction issue to me. 2. Didnt care for the way the MN6 shifts especially when cold. I changed to Royal Purple Synthetic Fluid and it noticeably shifts better. Thats all the complaints i have about mine. Its a well engineered and built Corvette and is incredible value for the money.

I think you might be asking for trouble using that fluid I'm not sure where but I read that it was not good for your tranny. And it was a reliable source.

REPLY: Royal Purple MaxLife Trans. fluid meets the requirement as stated in the 2006 Owners Manual (Type 3 auto. trans. fluid) for the MN6. If youve heard that Royal Purple specifically is bad , id appreciate it if you would research where you got the info from and post it in this thread ; many Corvette owners are using this as i have found out. Thanks for your concern.
