I have begun to put my engine back together....finally.....and I go to put the clutch/flywheel inspection dust cover on and I look and I look and I look and I look and I look......I can not find it! I have no idea what could have happened to it.....ad........

I see I'm not alone on this one!
As I'm working on my vette in three different spaces most of the time is lost with walking and searching for stuff.
Normally when I need a special tool I'm looking and looking, I know I had it only 2 houres ago, looking in a different place maybe I left it over there. More walking and looking and finally most of the time it's within 3 feet where I started looking. Looked over it for about 8 times but looking back it almost looks like my brain has been blocking it from my sight with some background color or something. But as said, at the end I'll find it (most of the times...)

One would think that if something were to be lost it would have been one or more of the inspection cover bolts......but nope....I have them....all four together sitting on the table....right where I put them 3 months ago. As far as the inspection cover....I have given-up....I have looked and searched around my garage 10 times, it is not that big of an area. So I am going to have to order a replacement....another $40 that I was not planning on spending.....oh well.....such is life.

Well.........if you have my kind of luck, the new one will get there and you think "this is a nice box, maybe it'll come in handy so I'll save it". Then you go to put it down and it winds up on top of the old cover! :L Such is MY luck.......

You'll probably find it right after you get the new one.....
Always works that way....then you'll have a spare.
