The power gains from a TB bypass is directly related to engine temp. If the engine is really hot, or even was really hot but just cooled down some, the gain is much more than straight off a cold engine. Is it worth it? well, $5 worth of parts, and a max total of 30 minutes... I think so. Even if it is only 2 HP it is worth the time spent.
