Surely one of a kind, this Callaway Corvette has been rebodied as a "Callarossa" Convertible

Crockett would have turned up the Miami heat with this one :eek

Surf, I would hope so - although the boost guage has been moved out of the dash to the pillar, a few other trim items are not there :confused

Seats look to be base C5 seats... :ugh

95k may be a bit of a stretch but for 25k, it might be a fun cruiser - the 80's are making (somewhat of ) a return ;)

I have seen these Testarosa kits on other Corvettes before and usually when you get up close you can tell that its a kit. Although in the pictures it doesn't look bad.

I wonder if this was one that we had seen wrecked several years back in california?? and yeah $95K is quite a bit of a stretch though it is most likely the only one in existence.

So there is another B2K which is gone from the 500 or so original ones... :cry

I've seen the car kits on a Fiero before. We saw the thing from a distance and decided to get a closer peek because the guy had a "for sale" sign on the window. Should've known better that a guy with a car like that wouldn't try to sell his car with a "for sale" sign on the window.:L

I would rather take the 95k and buy a real testarossa if that was the look I wanted

Exactly. Even here where things are in general 20-30 percent higher than in the U.S. you can get a GOOD Testarossa for 80 000 now. I've seen them as low as 70. Though the average is 85 to 110. Though it's going closer to 85 000 lately.

Most people don't realize that you can buy a Ferrari for the price of a minivan these days. (308's) :)

Just keep it on that side of the ocean, we'll stay with real Ferarri's overhere :D
(we also have a fake (non b2k) ferarri lookalike on corvette base car here in Holland :( ) I also know a viper body kit for a c4.. And i also don't get is why buy a fake ferarri or viper then just be happy with a good Corvette? I never seen no body kits for porsche's...

Groeten Peter.

One good plus of the "Callarossa" is, there are no $15,000 belt changes and tune up services :eek every 15k mi :eek

The B2K in this body does look better than some I have encountered - I recall seeing another red Vettearossa locally to me, owner of a nightclub had it in the early 90's, imagine that... Anyways, you could tell from a mile away it wasn't real - the one on e-bay at least looks decent in the pics ;)

Looks like she's got a bid :upthumbs :ugh

The Viper kit I just find WEIRD!!!! As for porsche's there IS the 356 replica and I remember there used to be a 935 kit for a beetle chassis. LOL.

But yeah. The Vette's just fine!! :cool

Maybe it was Mike/Ralph that bid on the Callarosa ;)

Notice that it's an auto tranny-equipped 'vert. But it's shown as a TH400 with a Gear Vendor's OD unit. Wonder if that was a conversion or if it was originally an auto tranny Callaway??

I was thinking the same thing.

As for the $95K;LOL

Buy the real thing for the same cash, c'mon...
Question: The first Miami Vice car, the Daytona Spyder, was it a kit as well? I have a bet on this...

You're correct! That also was a Spyder on a Corvette chassis.
