Alright I am looking at my front bumper today and I notice that it dips down slightly at the nose. I have read on a forum here that someone has fixed this before by blocking it up. However I can't find that thread anymore. Has anyone done this before? and if so would they mind sending me a few hints? Thanks!

you were right the link didn't solve my problem, however it was very helpful and gave me some new insight on how to make other repairs to my bumper. When you say they use aluminum or fiberglass I am assuming you mean as like a patch on the back? I was thinking they blocked it up of the bumper? the patch idea sounds like good one.

The affix aluminum, steel, plexiglass strips to the underside of the bumper as a way to hold the shape and keep it from warping. Basically, it won't warp once it's attached to the strips because the strips won't bend. Torsional rigidity....
