purchased these heads for my project but couldn't use them as the seller took 3 months to ship! I-5-4 translates into September 5th 1964.
These heads have been completely rebuilt.
-Oven baked
-Steel shot blasted
-Magnfluxed
-New valve guides (cast iron...thick wall)
-CBN surfaced
-Machined for screw in studs/guide plates
-Hardened exhaust valve seats (no intake seats but the seat was just opened from 1.94 and are fresh)
-multi angle Serdi valve job
-New 1.6/2.02 swirl polished stainless valves
-New 110lb, .525 lift valve springs
-3/8" screw in studs
-5/16" guide plates
-New seals (umbrella type - no grooves for OE valve stem seals)
-New hardened valve locks
I have CC'd each chamber and they are 57cc +/- 1cc for all chambers. These castings started out as 62cc. Be sure to do your DD and calculate compression ratio. All that's left to be done is to give each head a thorough cleaning - which I'll do.
$500 + shipping
My local shops wanted ~$800 to do this same thing to my cores so I sent away for these.
