fuel fragrance

Has anyone used those fuel fragrance products that summit carries? I have sidepipes on my 76 stingray, and I can smell the exhaust in my car, even though there is no leaks. You don't really smell it too much once in, but when you get in, you can smell it in the interior and such. These products supposedly will make your exhaust smell like cottoncandy, cherries, etc.. I don't know how they would work, can't see them working, but have seen stranger things work. If anyone has used these, would love to here if they work or not.

If I felt I might have exhaust fumes in the cockpit, I'd be real hesitant to mask them. Could it be possible your carb is running too rich/ timing off ... causing excessive odor inside? Otherwise, if the motor's in fine tune ... then maybe a smelly seat's the price for great-looking side pipes. If the fuel mix's too rich, even a car w/ rear ex can be smelly inside.

I saw a product in Speedway Illustrated that makes your exhaust smell like alcohol race fuel. :D
