Fuel Pump and return fuel line

I have a new Chrome Holley fuel pump form my '75, but there is no provision for a fuel return line. Is one needed? If it is needed, how can I modify the new fuel pump (Holley 12-327-11) for a fuel return line? If it isn't needed, would it be acceptable to just cap the return line or do I need to remove it from the tank fittings? If neither of these options is possible, what recommendations can anyone give on a chrome, high volume (not high pressure) mechanical fuel pump?

Yes, you could just cap the return line or get an inline fuel filter w/ a return connection.
