Greetings. I need to change my fuel pump gaskets because of an oil leak on my 68 vette, 327. I've been told that to the right of the fuel pump, on the front of the block, there is a 9/16ths bolt. And there is. If you take that bolt out and replace it with a bolt the same size except 2 inches long and hand tighten it down, it will bottom out on the fuel pump push rod and hold it in place while dropping the pump and changing out the gaskets. Anyone else heard of this method? It's a chore that needs to be done. I'm just looking for the easiest way to do it in the confined area. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks, Bagger
