I would like to remove my fuel rail covers so I can clean up the engine compartment a bit better. I've heard they just snap on and off, but I know me, I'll break something.

Can anyone advise me on how to remove them without breaking anything????

Thanks in advance!!

Chris

Chris,

It is actually as easy as you've heard. Just remove the oil filler cap and pull up lightly and the come right off. They're a little flexible so you'll be fine.

I know it seems like you're going to break something but you won't!

You don't know me very well, do you???? :L

I feel a little more confident now with jrose & Eric's advise. Anyway, if I do break one, I had planned on getting either red Z06 covers or the polished chrome ones someday.

You can buy FRC's pretty cheap! I painted mine red and put a decal package on them and they look really good!

That's a pretty good idea, jrose, I hadn't thought of that. :upthumbs
