My smile is back since the "service ride control" message is now off!
It was on Thursday night it started.
I read everything I could find on this subject. Through the "count the flashes" method I knew the problem was at the left rear shock.
With the help of the FSM I was able to remove the shock and actuator.
When I separated them the gear in the actuator was ok but parts of the white metal gear at the top of the shock crumbled off but teeth were intact.
I cleaned that out then reassembled and reinstalled everything.
Now the message is gone but just in case I ordered a couple brass gears from Corvette Central.
Love that 92 vert!
