Gas Leak Under Driver's Seat

I got home from a cruise last night and noticed that there was gas under the driver's side of the car. After I shut the car off, it quit. This morning I started the car up and gas was dripping from the pan covering what I believe is the gas tank on the driver's side. The car is a 2003 AE with about 5600 miles. I noticed coming home that the gas gage showed a lot less then I would have thought. Any ideas??

I would suggest to contact your dealership, and have the car flatbedded into the shop.
Your exhaust is right where your leakage is, and driving it would be very dangerous.
Just curious, what is your last 6 digits of your VIN???????

Good advice. If you are leaking gasoline, DO NOT drive the vehicle until it is fixed. Very dangerous to you and others on the road!

Here is the latest on the gas leak...the "Y" gas line between the two tanks broke right at the "Y". Just a hair line fracture. You couldn't even see it unless the fuel pump was running. New line on order.
By the way, last six digits are 010790. I looked through the tech bulletins but didn't see anything that resembled my problem.
We just returned from a 4500 mile trip on Route 66. I'm sure glad that this didn't happen while we were in the desert, that could have been a long wait.

Good to hear the fix is in the works and yes you are
lucky to have the leak close to home instead of
way out somewhere else!

BTW, I occasionally have a gas leak on top of the seat,
the result of a crack. :eyerole
