gas tank '78

I have a problem with my gas tank of my '78. So I will need another one but they are not reproduced anymore.
Where can I find one or does a '77 gas tank fit my '78 vette

77 wont fit gas filler neck is farther forward than the 78-82

What is the problem with the 78's gas tank? Is it un-repairable?

Contempoary Corvette in Bristol,PA has those tanks.They are used ones.They are advertised for $350.I have dealt with these guys several times with no problems. The phone no.is 1-800-367-8388.web site... www.contemporarycorvette.com

I have never seen those tanks in reproduction anywhere.maybe someone else good give some info on that. Those tanks,78-82 have a rubber bladder.Maybe that has something to do with the scarcity of them.
