Generator adjusting brace attachment 327

Question regarding bolting the generator adjustment brace to the 327 block. Does the mounting stud that is used to hold one end of the generator adjustment brace to the block replace one of the bolts that goes through the water pump. It looks like it would replace the one bolt just above one of the heater hose outputs. Thanks for any input.

That upper right-hand water pump attachment is a bolt with a threaded stud protruding from the bolt head to attach the bottom end of the generator adjusting brace, used from '58-'62; Paragon has them.
