We have taken over 60 pre-orders to date and the car has not even been debuted yet. It is very possible that unless you have your name on a pre-order list you may not be able to purchase a C6 as only the Coupes and Convertibles will be available this year. This means that every Corvette dealers allocation will be less this year than normal. Les Stanford being the # 2 Corvette dealer in the nation we still have tons of allocation left but dont wait too long. If you are wishing to place your name on our list then just clik this link and fill out the form and fax or email it back to us.

Happy New Year, Rick!

Let me know when Les Stanford has ordering info available.....I'm #2 on their wait list!!! :) :)

You Snooze you Lose!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi

If you didn't put an order in yet, your too late in the north east.

What you can do is buy a C6 from somebody who has it on order already for a premium.

If you are able to afford a new C6 and wanted one, then you would have one on order already, if not then you couldn't afford it in the first place.

Rick,

As a fellow Corvette enthusiast and CAC member, I appreciate your help in working with us "John Q Publics" and placing orders for the new Corvette. I realize that most dealers will mark up the sticker price, where-as you say you will not. I respect your honesty and willingness to help.

I am 100% in the market right now for a C6, and I even have the wife's approval (she rocks!) for a new C6. But I have a few items in life right now (one being stationed in Qatar at the moment) that preclude me from ordering right now. I also am waiting for the final options and price lists to be revealed (including color options) before I make this life changing purchase.

Enough about me, with all this in mind, I'm sure there are a few other CAC members and prospective buyers who are a little nervous about plunking down a large sum of $$ before the full car and all it's wonders are revealed.

My question to you is, what do you see for ordering in about 6 months? I understand that the 2005 allocation might be dried up by then, if so, will there be a chance to order an 06, and if so, do you know when that will happen? When do the 05 orders go in, is there a last date to get my order in? If it's past my 6 month from now cutoff date, what do you anticipate for the 06 model year as far as timeline?

Thanks for listening. Any insight to those who just need a bit more time will be appreciated...and I'll be writing you in 6 months!

Wow! Maybe me and some of the other "near elderly" guys can finally see prices on those preowned C5s go down to where we may be able to afford one.

I strongly encourage all C5 owners to get on the list for a C6!

Because the Coupe only will be available first then a couple of months later the Convertible the allocation for the Corvette will be greatly reduced the first year. I hope that we will have a few on the lot to sell but I would not bet on it. This is a great car and demand will excede supply for the first year or two. All I can tell you is get with me ASAP. By the way I thank you for your service over seas. God Bless You and Happy New Year. :)

I have taken 7 orders today alone. If you want an early order on a C6 do not delay get your name on someones list (hopefully mine) soon. Demand will exceed supply.:)

Rick,
What do you see happening to the C5s that are on the lot? Expect to see any huge discounts coming?

They are already discounted up to 16% thats as good as its going to get with out some rebates.:)

The demand WILL go up this week after the debut. Get your order in soon.:)

Note to Kingman

Alan,

Nice post. You know it's possible that some people won't consider purchasing a new C6 the first year. They'll wait to see if the car has any engineering or manufacturing issues. Then there's the people who will wait to see how the C6 pans out in 2006.

So much for your "snooze & looze" comment. And as far as your assessment on who can afford a new C6 - my friend you have no idea.

Remo :cool
