Spring is almost here, saw the grass in the front yard for the first time since early Dec. This was the first moring that I had dew on my truck and didn't have to scrape the windows. Itching to get the Vette from her long winter sleep but need a couple of good rains to get the salt washed off the roads. I can almost hear her roar and smell the exhaust fumes, wahoo getting excited.

We had wonderful weather here in Chicago over the weekend. I went to the Chevy/VetteFest on Saturday and on Sunday, fired up the L-82 and rolled it out of the garage for an oil change and then took a quick ride around town! It was great! Can't wait for the real spring weather to come in and stay. Had 2 people stop and talk to me about the car at the quikmart. I am getting spring fever for sure.

Snow is almost gone here too. Had 50-55 degree temps the last few days. Back to reality a little today, but still not bad. Backed my 72 out of the garage last weekend, and let her rumble awhile. Puttered around to make it look like I knew what I was doing at least.....can't wait to go for a cruise..... maybe another week or so if the weather keeps up.

Chuck,
Snow's melting and the playoffs around the corner. What more could a guy from Binghamton ask for.:beer

Go Rangers! :mad :cry Another year of missed playoffs:(

Carlo

Yes Spring has sprung here in Tennessee also.......I have been seeing alot of tops down and motorcycles everywhere.....Let the Games Begin:upthumbs

It ain't over yet for the Rangers...(who am I kidding):cry

OK OK, Carlo & MVFTW, I surrender, the Rangers, what do you expect, highest salaries, big name players, every game sold out, biggest hockey market and make the playoffs besides, just tooooooooo much to ask.

As all of you know I love hockey but since I bought the VETTE I can't wait for spring. Polishing her til my arms are sore, dirt under my fingernails, and smiling all the time. I want to get things fixed so I can venture to the Windham area for the spring gathering of CAC'ers and meet everyone. My golf clubs or as I call them "My little bag of back hoes" do fit in the Vette so it is also a multi-purpose vehicle, what more could one ask for.

Wahoo spring is coming, with todays rain one can smell the worms so the ground is thawing, more Wahoo's, Life is good.

Hope to see you all in the passing lane real soon.

The warm weather is coming!!! About another two or three weeks and the vette may be out of bed!!

Our first big 'cruise in' is the first Saturday of April. We had 2" of rain today washing the salt off the roads. I almost have my winter projects comlpeted on my car. Yes,its almost time.....

Happy motoring.........Dave

YaHooo!
The snow is all gone.:Twist It won't be long now. I'm ready to start taking the covers off.:Steer
My feelings on this past winter. :puke

Well talk about chomping at the bit,I had my new 69 delivered this past week and I haven't even had it out yet, rained a bit here also but we still have snow that's melting slowly and roads are still in poor shape to take the car out. All I can do is sit in the garage and look at it and do some small odds and ends until the weather gets better.:cry

Hey Pappy, you must have nerves of steel, a new toy and not be able to drive it, I would go crazy til I took it for a little jaunt down the road a bit.

Here in upstate NY the pot holes outnumber the flat spots, the salt is almost gone but the roads are a mess. I still want to do some traction tests -N- feel the power :s :bu , note this is for testing purposes only. I'm so anxious to get my knuckles scraped doing some minor repairs and have to dig the grease out from under my finger nails.

Chuck

I finally took mine out of hibernation yesterday! WOW!! Like getting a new car all over again. After 3 months, it started up immedaitely. Today I think I will go topless!:beer :Steer

Sorry to drag up this old post but yesterday we got 7" of snow here in upstate New York and the salt trucks were out again. This really put a damper on my spirits:mad :mad :mad now I have to wait for a couple of days of rain to wash all the salt off the road again!!!!!!!
