Got mail from GM today with a Notice to remind me that my C6 has manual door release levers inside between the seat and the door opening.
This Notice was VIN specific, so I imagine that everyone with a C6 or C7 will be getting one so that they don't die in a car they can actually get out of easily enough.
The Notice included pictures of the manual release levers on both sides.
