According to local news, GM is set to make a major announcement tomorrow, April 25th, regarding the Bowling Green Corvette Assembly Plant.
GM CEO, Mary Barra, and Gerald Johnson, GM Executive Vice President of Global manufacturing along with members of the UAW, federal, state and local officials will be in attendance.
The Bowling Green Corvette Assembly Plant has been the home of the Corvette for over 30 years and employs nearly 900 workers.
In 2015 the Assembly Plant received $439 million in upgrades with an additional $44 million spent on a new Corvette paint booth facility.
At this time, details of the announcement are slim to none at best, but we will have all the information here as more becomes available to us.
