ok
so it could use a smaller rear end and a larger front end. it's still purty. i'm young and i say long live the retro. but then again. i might just be trying to live an era before my time.

1DOWN6TOGO,

I've been offline from the Action Center for awhile. It's nice to see another Texan on board. Doesn't matter if you're young or not the '53 retro is nice IMHO! :) :w

i cant believe it

when i went to the webite to check out the price, i saw it is only $29,???, i was amazed, i thought it would be like 100 grand

That's after you furnish the vette. $29,000.00 is the conversion package, I think. :) :w

If I'm not mistaken, I think they used an actual '53 nose for this conversion! (On the first one, at least)

The front end looks OK, (saw it before), but IMHO the rear tail lights were over emphasized. The rest is probably OK. In another one of my HOs, I don't care for the retro look anyway, I would sooner forge ahead and have an updated styling with just hints of Corvette styling past. Maybe for the 50th the first 300 cars could have been White / Red Convertibles with an LS6, they would have been low in production numbers, and quite unique.
