The Cleveland Autoshow starts Saturday Feb 26 and runs for 9 days ... www.clevelandautoshow.com

Cleveland I-X Center ... from West Unity (my college buddy lived there) ... just take I-80 towards Cleveland ... 480 East ... exit at the Airport Exit ... the IX Center is next to it.

If you can make it to Cleveland on a week day it is best ... or if you must come on the weekend ... I suggest Sunday.

Depending on who and when people plan on showing up...I'm only about a 7 minute drive from the IX center. Maybe I could plan a lil' get-together at my place. Although, I don't expect to see many people driving vettes at the end of February. I know mine still in the garage... :cry

Cleveland ... winter ... Vettes ... not a good mix ... you should just meet everyone at the IX center ... maybe setup a Corvette gathering on one of the weekdays ...

I drove mine to work last night. The wife has to work late Friday and Sat so that would be the day for me I will drive the Vette the beater doesn't leave Williams Co. ;LOL

You guys have to try and remember....right now, there are only so many Z06 prototypes built (and it isn't many). Chances are, there's probably only a few available and they're probably spread out kind of thin between all the shows. I would also assume that some are probably still being used for some sort of quality or validation testing prior to production of saleable units.

It's not really an issue of GM lieing, but rather GM just wasn't able.

I know that I'm just dissapointed that its not there. :cry

I may go anyway I don't need much of an excuse to drive the Vette.
Don't they have an IMAC in Cleveland, Is that new Nascar flick playing yet?
How are the roads? :D

There is an IMAX in downtown Cleveland at the Great Lakes Science Center. Don't know what is playing. You could find out at www.Cleveland.com

Just peaked outside. Roads are clear, a hair wet, but no slush or anything. Without any preciptiation expected for today, the roads should be nice and dry (but salt dusty) by midday.

It was Conti's dealership I talked to. He was already at the show by the time I called, but his people said they are expecting it as they were told by GM to expect it.
He updates his site nightly, so that'll be the best source short of someone else chiming in to say they saw it there for sure.

I guess ... the Toronto car could come to Cleveland ... but I doubt it ... I went to the show and there is no place to put the C6 Z06 ... the C6-R is just sitting on the floor ...

I talked with Conti yesterday when I was at the show ... and he kind of agreed ... the Cleveland Auto Show website has even removed all references to the car on their site.

from Corvette Contis web site:

....the car is in Geneva....we were told by Cleveland Auto Show.com that it would be here and I apologize to those folks that thought is was going to be....Looking forward to talking with you all week during the 2005 Cleveland Auto Show!

SHOULD THE CAR SHOW UP - (I doubt it) I'LL POST UPDATED INFO HERE RIGHT AWAY!
