A week ago I was driving and got caught in a light rain so i turned on the wipers to the lowest setting and instantly the wipers just started goin at full speed. So I turned them off and they just kept wiping. eventually I got them to turn off. Then the other day I was getting ready to leave and and my car wouldnt even turn over. I would turn the ignition over and nothing, after 7 attempts along with cleaning my key and blowing air into the key slot of the ignition it started. Ever since then my wipers and ignition work fine.

Has anyone had these issues happen?

Are they related?

Or am i just dealing with some electrical gremlins?

Wipers WOULDN'T stop? That's the ONLY good electrical problem that someone could have - cause you can catch the problem in the act, with current flowing - just like a water leak.

Got multimeter?

The no-start condition could be a VATS gig. Blowing through the key slot could have removed some dirt that changed the impedance of the resistor reader. Even pocket lint will change the resistance on the key. To say nothing of grimy finger jam - Popeye's chicken n biscuit grease, sweat (electrolytes), tar from cigarettes, golden trophys that you get when you think no one's lookin' ;) , etc...

Had the same problem, it is the wiper control module. ThePartsLadi on the bay is the cheapest place to get one.
It is a easy change, the other thing mine would do is stop for a couple of seconds in mid wipe.
