So, what will I call this motor?.....LT98?

I just picked up the intake last night, and have to take another close look at this. I will have to build fuel rails from some left over L98 parts and the flexible lines to hook to the stock feed.

Looks kind of strange....don't you think?

Back to www.lt1intake.com for more instructions.

Could call it an L91...

Are you going to paint the intake to match the block? Does look weird, but no odder than a miniram.

Thing needs some polishing

Yep it does!

Here is the idea.

I am going to concentrat on a way to make this entire install from the valve covers to the plug wires...to look like some kind of a stock replacement.

The pure stealth mode.

I am going to re-use the ugly stock sheet metal valve covers. I am going to paint the intake black, but polish the upper fins. I am going to run as much gloss, and semi gloss black paint around the engine bay as possible. The headers, and some small things will give it away a bit. The block will be black as well.

I am also thinking about pulling the aluminum heads off my 90 L98, and sending them out with these cast heads. The cast iron heads on the 383 have 2.02/1.6 valves in there now. I could get that swapped over, then port and hog out the aluminum 58cc heads. That would give this flat topped 383 some real strong compression....

It is still all on the drawing board.
