Question: grand sport flares

8vp83l.jpg

Whoa This kit is truelly SICK! that thing is a real eye-catcher 100% body kit car i have never seen anything like this not even in the corvette books

That's not a factory fasica front or rear, but it looks vey nice. An aftermarket kit for sure.

that looks bad-ass Nice work! the rivits in the flares really add to the racer look Looks great!

That's a Geiger Body kit...made in Europe (Germany, I think).

Fender flares

Take a look at the attached pictures on the right front FENDER and you can see the GM partnr and the Corvette emblem in the inside of the fender as I mentioned already in by original question. (I don't think that the aftermarket
suppliers are allowed to use the GM/Corvette trade marks on their products or what do you think TCXD40 :chuckle ?????) So, we can summarize that this is NOT an aftermarket kit.
1. It is a factory form moulded part, not a fiberglas item.
2. Checked the partnr's with GM; original GM part, not an aftermarket kit. The parts were unfortunately discontinued by now due to the 10 year spare parts rule.
3. Found out that GM has built special body features only for the European and the Japanese markets.
4. The RPO code for my car body is according to GM:B74 Molding wheel opening extra wide (EXPORT) WHL OPG MLDG EXTRA WIDE (B74)(EXPORT)
and the RPO code R7K stands for special option processing.
The whole rear is a form molded chock absorbing plastic item not made of fiberglas.
So, according to GM I should look for used parts in Europe or Japan instead since these options were nerver available for the US market. So, now you know that the special featured Vette's were ordered from Europe or Japan! Big surprise for me too but I have to say that I am really happy to own this specific car! For the true enthusiasts I can e-mail some pictures later on when I have mounted the right front fender and the fender flare back on the car. Best regards Corvette Sweden :w:W

The pics of the fender are for 1991 thru 1994, they are not the ones pictured on the blue car ??? Additionally when I purchased my rear GS wheel flares from the dealer the front flares were still available, it's been about a year. I have the GM print out with the flares postioned front and rear.

Polo Green -94

The blue one is not my car. Mine is polo green. Pls take a look at the pictures.

Read Polo Green -94

I maybe wrong about this;shrug, however RK7 Control Sales Item 36 Processing Option from what I have found is a 36 month 36,000 mile warranty. The RPO is found on many GM car lines.

I did not see any Polo green corvette pics! Are they on this post?

The GM originals do have a part number on the backside. I just layed up a set in the molds this morning.

Mine are black gelcoat with the backside as well.

I like the Polo Green 94. The flare extensoins are GM, I believe. I have been looking for the lower extensions. I want to make a mold from them, so I can reproduce them.
