VIG!

The pedal took me 20 mins to install, boy that was easy!

Anywho now the climate control lever for the hot to cold has unhooked itself or whatever I can't select temperature it just moves side to side like its broken.

Can this be fixed or am I hooped?

Ok A/C & pedals

I assume the following...you have the manual A/C?

Just how much..THRASHING went on under the dash?

You will have to pull that out ( A/C control head) and ( your gonna hate this) It will be easier to see if you remove the radio as well!

Dammit just when I thought I was done with the bloody radio. I JUST finished my comp stereo in the dash LOL.

Thrash? Don't you DARE call me the S****W**G bad name.
LOL

* Undid clip for the throttle cable to Throttle body
* Thought I could get more slack if I move the cable out of the brace (Unsuccessful Due to the cable sleeve)
* Undid the 10mm nuts
* stuck my hand up and squeezed the plastic cable stopper through the pedal
* Old pedal is now off
*New Pedal
* With one hand, wedged the pedal between the steering column and the console
* put cable into the hole
*Pulled cable fairly quickly and CLICK the plastic clip was in
*Put pedal onto the studs
*10mm bolts back in place
*Reconnected Throttle Body cable

Basicly pretty simple except the contorsionist stuff. But I also don't use the dash knee pad (Hush panel?) Because of my height.

When I buy my new carpet Im going to "shave" the old pad WAY down as to let my knees in there comfortably.

Ok after Im done removing the radio and removed the wires/vaccum honeycomb from the CC head there is one wire that I can't seem to find the end of therefore I cant remove the thing. Its ONE wire not a harness Im going to assume that you know the one I speak of.

So after that done how do I reconnect the slider? Is it actually broken? Or is it simply undone? (Or is it impossible to know)

Oh BTW I had my Dad time me...

Started at 3:15 Finished at exactly 3:34pm

.....45 minutes? What you stop for Coffee? ROFL!!!!

Must be that California laid back lifestyle..Can't relate HAHAHAHA...

So you HAVE to remove the AC controler to check it out!

UNLESS you have X ray vision...

The cable you seek is on the BOTTOM of the AC controller ( If memory serves)
