Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

greetings from eugene or

I dont know about quad 4, but I had a 4 track player. The tape sat on top of the unit and you locked it in place with a lever. ps 8 tracks are still the best for holding the :Ltape and throwing out your window:L

Yes I remember the lever to lock them in. . . . . . I would have to look but I would bet I still have some old 8 tracks in the attic too. The CD's sail pretty good too though :ohnoes

I had 2 tapes that fit the 4 track. The Animals, And CCR Green river. Wow talk about being dated.I dont care That old music still sounds good.

Wow Germany... Are there many Corvettes there? Recently saw the guys from My Classic Car roadtesting the new corvette there at the Porshe factory, and on the Autobahn

There are a few, mostly newer ones though. The old ones are expensive to keep running (:eyerole), but if one has the fever, one cant be helped.

Silly me bought it here, shipped it to the States 10 years ago and back now when we moved back here. :crazy:chuckle

Yeah, the Autobahn and the Nuernburg track are favs for the testers, even GM decided to test their prototypes here. Talk about an endorsement. :D

Hmm, lets see...how fast can I get to Oregon from Arkansas? Will race for breakfast.:D

Welcome to the club!
From the looks of your car you could be here before the eggs get cold. Thank you for the welcome. Oh be sure to throw in your tire chains:boogie Lots of snow here

Cool:cool I have gone from fever to infection, I think the cure would be a Z06 with fuel injection:L

I remember both of the groups, Credence Clear Water Revival is the second one right? :W If it is that is one of my all time favorites :upthumbs

I am not getting old just getting seasoned. A older gentlemen told me here while back if he knew he was going to live this long he would have taken better care of himself ;LOL

Take care,
Bill :w

Hi Bill, Yea Creedence. If you liked them? John Fogerty the lead singer and songwriter has solo cds, new and old stuff. Better than the original in my opinion. You might enjoy. PS old is a privilage denied to many.:beer

Crowvet - Thanks for the nice words about my Corvette. It has the 327 - 300 hp engine. It was frame off restored in 1978 and has had about 5,000 miles since then. I bought the car about a year ago and have put 1,000 miles on it. It is VIN 5051, build date Dec 1, 1966.
Your Corvette looks as good as new. :w

Did a frame off restoration on mine in 2005 2006. It is also 327 300 horse. I have put about 3500 miles on it. Vin #2264 last car built in Feb. You can see pictures of restoration on my profile page. I was going to ask you, Does yours have A/C ? Your windows look to be tinted. It would be cool to cruise these two together, They look so much alike.

crowvet - My 67 Corvette has ps, pb, pw, 4 speed, all tinted glass, headrests, am/fm radio, A/C, teal blue leather, 3:36 positraction. I have the original owner's protect-o-plate. Clock was rebuilt and works fine. It was awarded Top Flight in June 1981 in St Louis. I took the T-3 headlights off and put them in boxes and replaced them with halogen. :w

I think they are both just awesome, just doesn't get much better! I would like to see these 2 with 67HEAVEN, had the pleasure of feasting the old eyeballs on that baby, real choice to say the least. This is what Corvette is all about in my opinion, just awesome!!!!

67 vet, I am thinking about having mine flight judged in september. How picky are they? Do they get down to nuts and bolts? My car is about 70% all original parts, it is all original matching # drive train. I did take some libertys because I want to drive the car. Do they dock you for example for powder coating frame, updating bushings ect?
