My 2013 GS - 6speed manual has 1.5" lower front ground clearance than my friends 2013 GS - automatic. Can the difference in ground clearance be due to the oil pan / dry sump having less height than a regular oil pan on the automatic version ? My vet scraps each time I leave or enter my driveway. It looks like annually I will be replacing the lower front air dam, unless I can raise the front a .5" or more. Does anyone know if the front can be raised ?

Grand Sport manuals w. dry sumps were intended to be used on the track and have a lower trim height than automatics in the interests of better handling.

The ride height is adjustable within a limited range. The instructions on how to do this are in the Factory Service Manual. You must raise both ends of the car equally.

After you raise the car, have the front and rear suspensions aligned.

Hey Hib, does this lower trim height apply to ZO6's, ZR1's and the 427 Vert?

MDMonge,

Brand new to CAC and just wanted to add that I also have a 2013 GS w/manual and dry sump and I scrape on my driveway too. Any problems with speed bumps?

Thanks Hib, for the heads-up on the ride height adjustment.
