Hi

While driving to pick up dinner l noticed that my temp guage was around 193 deg, and then it rose to around 235 deg and then shot past the end and then went back to 193 deg for the rest of the trip home.

Is this normal, the only thing that l did today was add water wetter to my reserve, because everytime l took some anti freeze out on my radiator to make room for the water wetter, the anti freeze level would rise back where it started. Very frustrating, so l dumped it into my recovery tank. Did not want to mess with the bleed valve.

Also my passive key light will come on from time to time for a second and then go away. Does this mean that my FOB battery is weak.

Besides the above the vette runs like it should.

It could have been an air pocket. Has the problem reoccurred since? :confused

Shoulda "messed with the bleed valve." ;)

Thanks

The passive key didn't come on again and the temp guage, just needs a tap on the dash over the gauges.

This is what probably GM sent out as a service bulletin!!!!!
