Greetings all from the great white north...:w

I sent in to GM and got a copy of the original BOS on my '78. I was looking over the options it had and noticed that it came with the Gymkhana option. :) I assume that is a good thing. Are there things I need to be aware of before I do any suspension work on it? :confused Is there a way to see if the original Gymkhana parts (whatever they may be) are still there?

On a related note... What are your thoughts on taking the car (I bought it last summer) to the local Chevy dealer and having them give it the once over? I have no Corvette gurus around here, that I am aware of.

First off, how long did you wait for the BOS? Next, Gymkhana is a good thing. It's the heavy duty suspension option. It has 7 leafs instead of 9 and you have a rear sway bar and a bigger front sway bar. Next, DO NOT bring it to Chevy!!! Post your town and other will advise...

It only took about 3 weeks to get it. Do you need the email address of the gal I wrote to? I live in Winona, MN. Any Corvette gurus around?

When I take it out of storage, I will check the spring and see how many leaves it has.

No, I e-mailed her 2 weeks ago...

humph... I emailed my back in December :cry

I sent my original request on Dec 18. I got it on Jan 25. A little longer than 3 weeks, I guess.
