I have two I have noticed (one on spoiler, the other on the door) and was contemplating if I should do anything about them so they don't get bigger, worse, etc. I thought about touch up paint, but thought that could make them look worse if I don't do it right. I thought of this last night and wanted to run this by anyone. Do you think I could possibly suck some touch up paint in a syringe and run it along the crack? This may be a hair-brain idea, and I may be just as well to leave it alone. Just wanted to see if anyone has done anything like this; I want to avoid sanding and repainting the whole body part since the paint is fairly new. I also thought of getting a tiny paintbrush (instead of the large one usually inluded in with the touch up paint) to run along the crack. Any advice is appreciated.

Personally, I would leave well-enough alone. Unless you have some experience with the finesse of paint repair, I doubt you are going to like any touch-up you do.

FWIW: at St. Louis, they used a paint reflow gun for paint repair. It combined hot air like a hair drier with a mist of lacquer thinner, softened the paint, and let the reflow take care of the ding. Good idea, but you have to remember they were using the gun on brand new paint.

:)
