Were the IROC's 305's or 350's?

They were 350's EXCEPT FOR the convertibles. The 350's in the IROC's were actually corvette 350's. The reason they didn't put them in the convertibles is because of their A-body.... they feared they wouldn't be able to take the torque of the engine - even with the extra crossmember support under the car. So a high performance 305 was shoved in there instead!

Very sweet and it looks well taken care of!! :upthumbs :beer

All my babies are well-taken care of.... hell, that is why I've spent so much money on that garage! You can barely see it to the left of that picture... its white - 40X60 and 14 feet high!!! I know... way too excessive - it was built back in the day when I ate, lived and breathed cars..... now, of course, my interests have expanded so I'm doing many other things and as a result the car passion has taken a back seat. Hopefully, when I'm done with the PhD I'll be able to have more time in my life (and money) to start it up once again! I have a drag car that has been sitting for over 10 years now... waiting....longing.....for the day to meet the track. Some day... some day...

You mean that inferential statistics have gotten more priority than a car? :L

Not to be nitpicky here but isn't the Ph.D. doctor only supposed to be addressed in an academic environment as opposed to a M.D. who is addressed like that generally?

Dunno but I got my PHD in high school working for a play-ground installer.

Post Hole Diggers.

Lots of guys have one around here. No big deal.

Probably..... BUT WHO CARES!! I just wanted a personalized plate with my name in it and this one was available so I snagged it!! ha ha ha. I certainly don't want anyone to be calling me Dr. Hill. Uck....... Good ol' Dawn will suffice!

Well, aaaaallllllllrrrrrriiiiiiiggggghhhhhttttt!!!!! Cool color combo and I'm not a big fan of a white Vette, but the red innie sets it off!! You on fire, gurl!!!! :w

Hi Dawn.:w

Glad to hear you are having such good luck with your C4, because I know you were really sceptical about it's condition when you were considering it. I like DR. DAWN.
It sounds like a MARVEL character, and we know how marvelous you are.:dance
