This may seem like a really dumb situation, but I was hurt at work a while ago and have developed arthritis in my knees.
My 86 coupe seems to have an extremely hard throttle, meaning that after I drive it a few days my right knee hurts from keeping constant high foot pressure on the gas pedal. Also, I often do some jack rabbit starts unintentionally, as I press on the gas and then it just goes....
I checked the routing of the throttle cable and it seems fine...when I operate the throttle body by hand it take a bit of effort, so I think that is the culprit.
Can the return spring be unwound a turn to relieve the pressure, or ????????? Thanks
