Hardtop Removal????

It sounds like he has backed off the rear bolts (maybe too much) to the point where they have reached the HardTop Spacer Sleeve Nut. If he is pulling the release and it is not comming off maybe he has not removed the B Pillar Bracket Bolts on the sides.

Hope he has success!

Extraction Successful!!

OK... I had typed a REALLY long write-up and thank you but the forum trashed it because I had too many little characters in it???

Thanks for all your help... I just can't go through typing that again.

Kev,

Glad you were successful!

Now relax and have a Yingling! :beer

I don't have the floor space for one of those carts. For now it will live in the basement once detached.

Kevin, I just snuck the hardtop up & into one of the spare bedrooms ;) We are busy getting the nursery in order so hopefully that will distract my bride for awhile :upthumbs
(It got old, storing the h.top on the roof of one of the other cars - having to move it whenever I wanted to drive that one... :Steer )
