Rumpity rumpity rump....

I neatly cut the black front fascia above the chin of my 2006 on each side, to allow air to come into the engine bay and it seems to work well. In order to get the fresh air well into the engine bay, i neatly fabricated some sheetmetal 'scoops' , painted them satin black, and installed them alongside the radiator shroud inside the engine bay so they deflect the incoming fresh air up on a 45 degree angle well into the engine bay. Dont get too much dirt coming in and it didnt change the handling characteristics of the car at high speed (100 mph). Id imagine its helping to rid the heat from the motor and headers . Has anyone else done this and, have you taken before and after temperature readings in the engine bay ? Thoughts and comments ? I thought it was a pretty neat and simple Mod to do and if anyone is interested , i can make a brief Video and send it to them. David.
