Hello all,
I have just installed one side of my new H.D. trailing arms. Evertyhing looks good except now because of the different configuration of the arm, at the most extreme vertical point, it will miss the rubber bumper stop on the frame.

I realize the bumper is for saftey if the suspension ever bottoms out. Should I be concerned about this.? Has anyone installed this type of arm before?
These arms are not the offset type for wider tires, but the look just like them in that they are the H.D. "C" chanel design.

thanks, john

I assume you have not lowered it to the ground yet and applied weight to that side??? If so, it won't line up until it is loaded.

I don't recall any problem with mine.

No I have not put her down yet. Still have the other side to do and am waiting for the spring to arrive.
It just doesn't look like it will be lined up because when I lift the arm up it misses.

That makes sense I'll take your word for it. When I install the spring and chambered exhaust we'll see how it looks.
Thanks
-john
