I was trying to figure out how to get access to the head light module and the fog lights, so I could install my new xenon bulbs. My best guess is that I need to remove the front wheels and then the forward part of the wheel well. Am I even remotely close? There does not seem to be any access to the head lights or fog lights from the engine bay. Also, are the head lights in a sealed module?

fog lamp access...

I was just in/under my frontend this week doing some checking of my radiator support, which I determined needs replacement. Anyways, there are panels below the bumper cover on both sides, forward of the front tires of course, that the side air dam skirts attach to, that when removed will allow access to the fog lamps/bulb socket. The sockets are the typical twist to release. I'm guessing there are possibly other ways to go about changing the fog lamps, but since no one has commented, I thought I would share my personal experience with you. I to wish to swap to the brighter fog lamps very soon. Good luck! Oh, you'll need a standard 7mm and 10mm deep well sockets or wrenches.
