Head Room Difference with Stock Vs Sport Seat

Am I crazy or has anyone else noticed a difference in head room between the stock bucket seats and the sport seat option. I am 6'4" and don't fit into the coupes (2000-2003) with the sport seats, my head hits the roof. But with the stock seats I have about an inch of head room. Anyone else notice this?

I have the sport seats on my 97 that would seem really odd to me. Maybe you just didn't adjust the seat correctly? Im about 6 ft and i have plenty of room it looks as though you would be able to fit fine. Try and play with the seat some more!

I agree, plenty of head room in mine.

I have the Sport Seats in my 2K and I'm 6'5". It took me quite a while but I found a position that would just let my head clear the roll bar. I would be a lot happier if I had another inch of clearance.

Ok I was wrong, after sitting in every Vette I could get my hands on I founded out that it wasn't the seat. However, I think it was a change in the 2002 and up models, I don't fit in anything that is a 2002 or higher with sport seats, but I did fit into a 2002 with the stock buckets. I fit fine in 2001 and eirlier with either seat, go figure.
