Head Swap

Anybody know which Chevy head castings will bolt right up to my 80 L-48 engine. Especially 2.02 valves or smaller then stock cc chambers. Also how much should be planed on a 76cc chamber to raise the compression by 1.

If you are going through all the trouble and expense of putting 202 heads on your L48, why not change the pistons to get your compression rather than shave the heads? You could also have your stock heads re-worked with 202 valves, and keep all your numbers matching. I also believe that by shaving your heads to get the compression you are looking for you run a high risk of swallowing a valve.
