Recently I had the headlight door motor gear box rebuilt and when i reinstalled the headlight assy. in the car one door opens and the other side closes. This is on 1989. any suggestions would help thank you

Uuhh. Swapped wires? 
I assume that the one which was left in the car works correctly? Not sure what was rebulit. Did they actually install a new drive motor? If so, THEY may have switched the wires, not you.

I didn't think they messed withthe wiring since only the gear box was rebuilt but i will check thanks for the reply
