Bought rebuilt motors. When the lights are off they are in the open position. When you turn them on the lights come on but they close.

Little China guy has no idea what col codes are. Bought a set of HID driving lights and one has red + to the balast and the other has black + the motor wires are hooked up wrong.

The direction of the motors is changed by small micro-switches inside. As the motor rotates and travels as far as it can,. it hits trips a switch that stops it, and sets up the change of direction. Thru relays and micro switches, thats how it knows to open/close or stop.

I've done it and there was no crossed wiring. The switches timing was off 180*.. It was actually kinda funny to see...one would roll up as the other rolled down...
I believe that I unplugged relays on the one that was out of phase, operated the lite switch, then plugged it back in at the right time. That re-syncronized the pair.
You have 3 relays...one for power to both, then one to each motor. If I remember correctly the power relay is different.
