Headlight Pop-up Problem Fix

Problem: Replaced the plastic gear in my drivers side headlight motor with a new brass gear. The light worked normal for about a month, then the light would pop-up about half way after closing. I could manually lower the light. I thought the problem might be the "Headlight Control Module".

Fix: The dime sized plastic travel stop by the motor was shifted into the arm travel and causing it to bind. Repositioned the stop and it works fine.

Sometimes corvette problems are cheap or in this case FREE to fix.
