ANOTHER HEADLIGHT PROBLEM?
Both headlights on my 04 dont open ? When I left for my ride 2 nights ago, they both worked fine. I just pulled into the drive...turned the car off to open the garage door and when I got back in....NOTHING! They seem to be turning on and I can see that the brights flash when I pull the lever but the doors just dont open.
I have checked fuses and they are fine.
Where do I look next??? Anybody have this problem or any suggestions?;shrug

No headlights

What was your fix, for your headlights ? I'm having the same problem......All fuses were replaced, have all marker lights and fog lamps just no pop-up or low beams......

what was the fix for your problem

I don’t know if I have corrected it yet???? When I discovered the problem it was 1 day before a 10" snowstorm hit us here in Wisconsin. I prefer not to drive mine in the snow and salt.....I disconnected the battery and reset the twilight settings. I tried it a time or two in the garage...and I think I’ve figured it out. But true sun light will be the final test! I'm taking her out of storage in the next week or so........SPRING IS BACK!

Headlights

The problem could be the Turn Signal Stalk, very easy 2 replace, all U need is a 10mm torq head wrench 2 change out. After checking and cleaning all ground points behind both headlights and checking power signal 2 headlight motor module under passenger headlight. My stalk was the problem. Due 2 wear from rotating the stalk, the plastic dial in the stalk doesn't push the contacts enough 2 send the signal for the lights 2 come on. I found a thread on corvetteforum that gave instruction on repairing it, I tried it and it work for a day so I replaced the stalk and have no problems. I found a stalk at a local Corvette Specialist for $100....

re: your headlamp problem

It's the headlamp module shorting out intermittently.
I had the same problem, bought one on Ebay for $65.00 vs the $175.00 or so the dealer was going to charge and changed it myself. It's right up under the right headlamp, it's pretty much plug and play after you finally figure a way to reach the two screws holding it in.

Thanks......I'll try that! it seems that when I use or reset the twlight setting that I can turn them on...but the switch on the turn signal will not turn them off & on? it will although turn them off once I have turned of the ignition.
