I am a new member and this is my first post. I have an 88 Vette and I am going to replace the headlight switch. Can I get to it by pulling the top dash pad? Thanks for your help. 5 pinball

Yes, it makes it a lot easier to remove the switch (at least for me it does) with the top dash pad out of the way. Just be careful with it - it's an expensive item!
