I have a strange issue when I turn on/off the headlights. I recently replaced cam, lifters, balancer, chain, both headlight actuators, plastic filter and metal valve. The headlights work great, go up quick both at the same time and go down no problems. when engine is off they will also go down. ISSUE: When I turn on/off the headlights at idle (800-850) I get this slight shake (vibration) in the engine (not missing) which is also felt in the car. It only lasts for about 5 seconds and everything is normal again. This does not occur under normal driving conditions. I have searched the site with negative results. Not a huge deal as everything works great but something must be off. Thanks

Sounds like you are losing vacuum somewhere in the headlite vacuum circuit or motors. Probably enough to upset the engine mixture and make it run rough momentarily. I would be checking for cracked hose and such.. You may disconnect them at some of the junctions and plug them on the engine side of where you disconnected., then on/off the lights. This should give you an idea as to which part of the system has the leak. If the engines stumbles then the problem is between your checking point and the engine.

May not have enough vacuum built up because of cam or other engine changes. Since the lights work correctly, just waiting for the vacuum to build up in the cylinder.
