Heat level from hood vent.

When looking at how the hood vent blows hot air from the radiator over the top, I can't help but wonder how hot that air will be and how that will effect the paint job downwind, particularly right between the vent and the winshield. Will we perhaps see instances of peeling or bubbling in that area over the course of several years of driving?
 
I think that's pretty unlikely.

Vettes have had side vents on the front fenders on and off for decades and I don't recall any reports of paint discoloring due to hot air flowing out of those vents.

And, that air is probably a good deal hotter than radiator exhaust air...
