My '96 coupe with 52k on the clock has developed a case of "foggy windows". I isolated the heater core and the problem went away. I don't really want to dig into replacing the core myself and the cost to have it done is a healthy chunk o' change.
I don't think the leak is very big as I cant find any antifreeze in the carpet. Any thoughts out there to using the new generation of stop leak?

try K&W it works great follow the "directions"! it's important to flush sys.first

Foggy windows

The service manual recommends a sealer whenever flushing and refilling the cooling system. You could find it from the dealer. My father-in-law GRHS worked in an assembly plant and swore that every car out the door had a dog turd in the radiator and that it was nothing more than BARS-LEAK! That's the stuff that Admiral Rickover had put into the Nautilus' reactor cooling system to stop cooant leaks. It will work. But eventually you'll have to replace the core. I've done two. I'd pay up to $400 not to have to do it again if I could find a shop I could trust.
It's a nasty job.
Good luck.
