i changed my thermostat about 8 months ago and i noticed that the air does not get warm is this due to the new thermo? or could there be another problem?

What is the pre-set opening temperature of the thermostat you installed eight months ago? ;shrug

Your original should have been 190 degree.....what is it now?

That is really too cold for a car in a cold climate.

You will never really heat up when moving down the road as the stat is open right away and circulating water.

I suggest you go to at least a 180, if not back stock.

If you want the car to run a tad cooler, go for the custom thermo sensor that turns the fan on around 185 instead of 232 and or just have the computer reprogrammed to turn the fan on earlier.
