Does anyone know if the C6 has the heights adjustment bolts that the C5 has?

thank for your quick reply. How much adjustment is there? Do the wheels have to be re-align?

About an inch. If you want to go lower you need to modify the rubber stops.

Hi there,
GM factory recommendation is no more than 15 mm ball joint to pivot change.
As this is how we measure ride height accurately.
Any lower, and ride quality will be compromised.

Thanks to all who answer my question on ride height...
Now if some one would just come up with an answer on how to turn down the volume on those darn chimes with a GPS radio...

Hi,
Could you please explain the purpose of the height adjustment bolt? Can we raise and lower the C6?
Everytime I pull out of the driveway the front end guard scrapes (even if turning at an angle). Could adjustment of the height bolt solve this problem?
It sounds as though an adjustment could seriously/negatively effect handling.
Please advise - thanks for the knowledge that you guys impart!

Hi there,
C6 will always scrape a bit. The plastic deflector is designed to do that, and to inhibit aerodynamic lift at speed. It also provides positive air pressure to the front of the radiator to help in cooling.
No matter how you raise the car, it will scrape and I would not be concerned.
Ride height is adjusted to assist in vehicle handling when at the track or just for looks.
As a GM tech, we use the adjustments for alignment purposes and to make sure that the suspension is set up correctly.

my c6 has been lowered an inch up front and inch and a half in back basically set the car at 3/4" rake to make it look mean and then realigned. I thought it handeled good before but now its pretty incredible next is the big sways we will talk more about handling then and if its not enough then either c5r springs or coil overs but lowering and alignment of the c6 definatley gives better handling and looks as well

Hey Nick thanks for the advise. How much did it cost for the alignment?
Sunday Gold

the total cost for lowering and alignment was about 400 if you have the time adjust it yourself just make sure you loosen the suspension first and then only 150 to re align. but also when they lowered it for me they took it back a week later and re did the lowering cause it did settle bout half an inch in the rear
also what all do you have done to that c6
