Hi im new here. And im thinking about trading sone body work for a 1987 vett has 25k on it. Only. Problem is its been sitting outside for the passed 15 years and doesn't run. Is it even worth anything or is it looking to be a big mess.. Thanks

First off, Welcome to CAC! Sounds like you might be pretty handy......25K is pretty low mileage, but sitting outside is really hard on a vehicle. Remember this, it's really just another Chevy. C4s are pretty neat cars (I had one...and it had over 100k on it when I traded), so parts shouldn't be too expensive and relatively easy to find.

A wild guess is the worth is not much and will be a money pit .BUT if ya like to tinker and looking for a good hobby this might be it .My wife had an 87 and loved it .

I do drive over to Arcaida about once a week if you'd like an objective assessment.

My wife says any Friday because it's popcorn day at the credit union
