Ok I have a current code that wont reset SCM B2860 H C.I have memory seats and tilt and telescopic. The easy entry option is not working,But the Button on the column works in and out.It just will not move with the memory option.
What i have tried so far Disconnected the battery,
Turned wheel lock to lock with column in ,out ,and half way.Checked under dash for Loose wires found nothing.

THanks In advance
Brian

HI there,
This is basically telling you that there is no signal coming from the telescopic position sensor and the SCM cannot correlate what your memory setting is.
So, with that, you are going to need to remove the lower knee bolster and the black hush panel to access this. Also, it may help you to remove the seat, as the seat control module could have come unplugged or a wire pinched.
You will need a reliable electrical multimeter to correctly diagnose this.
Please keep us posted if you would like to proceed.

Thanks for c4c5 you input hoped you would respond. Where is the sensor located on the column? I looked under their yesterday. Their are so many things.A idea of which one to start at would be helpful.

HI there,
The sensor is located inside the motor assembly for the telescopic assembly.
This will be located on the passenger side of the steering column, directly mounted to it.
Move the column and you can see and hear the motor moving the column.
The sensor is inside this piece.
There is a connector attached with all the wires for the column motor.
This is where you will start. Unplug them and see if there is any damage to the connector.
Allthebest, c4c5
