HELP! I'm burning up! My temp door actuator is stuck on heat driver's side.

Hi, this is Neil I am a new member, I have a 1999 C-5 where the driver's side climate control is stuck in the heat position. The temperature control for that side does not work. I removed 10A fuse #27 in the fuse box located on the passenger side front floor as instructed to re-calibrate the actuators and the problem persists. I am assuming this temperature actuator has failed and would like to remove it to inspect its nylon gears. Where exactly is this component and what is the procedure to R&R it? It's hot as hell to drive.
